Three people escaped the 1:50 a.m. house fire in Fort Worth.

Investigators are looking into the cause of an early morning house fire that claimed the lives of an adult and a child in Fort Worth on Jan. 24.

Three other people escaped the burning house before fire crews arrived on scene. A man, a woman, and a child were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Fire units were dispatched to the report of a house fire in the 2600 block of Market Avenue about 1:50 a.m.

Fire arriving units reported a small, one-story house fully involved and extending to a house next door. The two houses and three vehicles were very heavily damaged from the fire.
