Photo Story: Attic Fire Contained in Pennsylvania

April 24, 2014
Crews from the Community Fire Company arrived to find fire in the attic of a home.

Firefighters from four fire companies and one EMS company responded to a Forks Township house fire on April 21.

A report of a dwelling fire was reported to the Northampton County 911 Center around 12:50 p.m. The Community Fire Company was dispatched.

The first arriving unit found smoke coming from the roof vents and a first alarm call was sounded. This call brought Forks Station 25, Palmer Station 27 and a ladder from the City of Easton to the scene.

An interior attack was made and the fire was confined to the attic area. The fire was placed under control in about 20 minutes.

The rest of the dwelling received smoke and water damage. No injuries were reported.
