The fire was reported at 4 a.m. and Prince Rupert firefighter found fire venting through front entrance and office windows.

An early morning fire destroyed a bowling alley in Prince Rupert in British Canada on July 5.

The fire was reported at 4 a.m. and crews arrived to find fire venting through front entrance and office windows.

Temperatures had reached flashover conditions and a defensive attack was initiated.

This fire required all resources from the career department, including a chief, deputy chief, four captains and 14 firefighters. 

The fire is currently under investigation , but is being treated as suspicious.
