Rush firefighters extricated a driver after their car crashed into a construction vehicle on April 27.
The car left southbound Interstate 390 and struck a construction vehicle, spinning around and coming to rest on the shoulder. The car's bumper and front wheel were torn off.
Firefighters from Pumper 582 knocked down a small fire in the car while the crew from Rescue 588 freed the driver, who was not alert.
The driver was treated my Henrietta ALS and taken to the hospital.
