A firefighter was briefly trapped on the roof as fire spread through an Indianapolis home on Feb. 4.
Crews were dispatched to a house fire with entrapment on the city's west side around 3:20 a.m.
Upon arrival, all four residents had escaped from the home and were injured. Strong winds whipped the flames as crews struggled to secure water.
The firefighter who was trapped on the roof was guided to safety by others.
Crews from Wayne Township and Speedway assisted Indianapolis crews.
