Fort Worth firefighters user hoselines and elevated master streams to stop a fast-moving fire in a northside pallet yard on April 7.

Quint 12 was dispatched to an odor of smoke on Northside Drive and arrived to find dozens of pallets burned and threatening two nearby buildings.

Crews had to cut through metal fences to access the yard and several handlines were moved into position.

Supply lines were laid to Quint 12 and Truck 1 as firefighters used the master streams to knock down the bulk of the fire.

A second alarm was called for additional firefighters to contain the fire and conduct extensive overhaul.

Crews were rotated through the scene for several hours to douse hot spots.
