Three Indianapolis firefighters sustained injuries after they fell through the floor of a vacant home during a late night house fire.

Fire crews responded to the Michigan Street home around 10 p.m. on Oct. 31.

As crews were battling the fire, firefighters found the second floor to be spongy and fell through the floor. They fell about 10 feet and landed on the first floor.

The firefighters were taken to Methodist hospital where they were treated for various injuries, but Indianapolis fire officials said the injuries were not serious.

Indianapolis and Fort Wayne firefighters responded to the fire.
