Firehouse.com talks with Firehouse World 2008 program director Harvey Eisner and Show Manager Mary Velline about the upcoming West Coast conference. Harvey Eisner discusses the top-notch training that's offered over five day, including both hands-on and classroom sessions. Several keynotes look at timely issues, including the The Charleston Sofa Superstore Fire and the recent rash of major wildland fires that tore through California.
Firehouse World will bring together over 7,000 fire, rescue and EMS professionals and Mary Velline fills us in on the well-known networking events, including the second annual chili cook-off and night at the fire museum. She will also give us a sneak-peak of the offerings found on the ever-growing exhibit floor.
