Case shares the story behind his "The Economic Impact of Firefighting" session and why fire departments should evaluate the true financial impact of their operations.

He highlights what the Phoenix Fire Department found when they colloborated with Arizona State University's Seidman Research Institute to discover the true impact on a community when a business is damaged by fire.

They also discuss another program that Case will be offering: "Recruiting, Selecting and Developing Your Future Firefighters."

Hear what Case found during his time at the Phoenix Fire Academy and why the hiring process need to be re-evaluated.

"If you bring in the right person they are going to be an asset for 30 years," Case said. "Or, if you bring the wrong person in, they'll be a thorn in your side for the next 30 years."
