Salem, OR – Nine1One Gear today announced the launch of its new Infinity Line of personalized, custom-tailored, US-made jackets for firefighters, emergency-response and law enforcement professionals, according to company president Peter Ettro.

“Our customers are putting their lives on the line every time they get a call,” Ettro said. “We want them to be as prepared and comfortable as possible, and we want the dedication they feel toward their job reflected in the quality and innovation of the products we make for them.”

Taking a cue from NIKEiD Nine1One developed three new jacket designs for first-responders that they can personalize to make their own, which enables Nine1One dealers to offer custom options previously unavailable to customers. The Infinity Line comes in reflective and non-reflective versions, in 14 different colors. Users can configure badge holders and pockets before the jacket is produced.

Nine1One products are ISO 9001-certified, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)-approved and made with Gore-Tex®.

Nine1One Gear was launched in 2008 with the mission of bringing “relentless innovation,” style and high performance to the firefighter, EMS and rescue outerwear market. The company’s roots date back to Airtime Hood River, an Oregon-based firm founded in 1985 that produced parkas and bibs for the Mt. Hood Ski Patrol. In 2011 Nine1One merged with WaterShed, a producer of high-end industrial raingear and brought all of its offshore manufacturing back to WaterShed’s Salem, Oregon-based factory.
