Hale Rolls Out Anodized HP Series Portable Pumps

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. (April 12, 2011) — Hale has upgraded its HP series, a line of portable pumps that come in a wide range of configurations to meet many firefighting situations. The HP series is known for safety and reliability, and now for longer life. The pump surface is now anodized to increase resistance to corrosion and wear and tear.

The HP series is known for safety and reliability, and now for longer life. The pump surface is now anodized to increase resistance to corrosion and wear and tear.

The HP series features lightweight aluminum alloy gearboxes and pump bodies; optional integrated base fuel tanks and models available with handles; wraparound frames, and fuel bases and covers. Units shipped and used in North America come with a three-year warranty. The upgraded portable pump line will be available for ordering and shipment this spring.

The anodized HP portable pumps offer the following features:

•  Rotating discharge valve for quick and easy hose layout;

•  Exclusive band clamp design for convenient maintenance and repairs;

•  Remote panels available; and

Ability to multiplex with ES-Key system.
