  SUMMERVILLE, SC – American LaFrance, LLC is proud to announce Micro Fire Apparatus as its new dealer in central and eastern Pennsylvania. Micro Fire Apparatus is located in Allentown, PA, and is owned by Bob and Mike Van Why. Both Bob and Mike have a combined 67 year membership with the Hanover Township Fire Company.

Micro Fire Apparatus is located in Allentown, PA, and is owned by Bob and Mike Van Why. Both Bob and Mike have a combined 67 year membership with the Hanover Township Fire Company.

As an American LaFrance dealer, Micro Fire Apparatus is authorized to sell new American LaFrance fire products along with providing warranty, service and parts to departments operating American LaFrance equipment. At one time, Micro Fire represented LTI before the aerial company was purchased by American LaFrance. “We are very excited to have Micro Fire back with American LaFrance,” says Kevin Hyde, Vice President of American LaFrance’s Fire Division. “Their relationships in the fire community and breath of expertise servicing fire apparatus make them a great addition to the American LaFrance team.”

Micro Fire Apparatus was founded in 1986. The business operates out of an 11,500 square foot facility equipped to handle collision, body, and paint services. Craig Long, Micro’s sales manager, has been with the company since its beginning and also is a member of the Allentown Fire Department.
