Streamlight to Donate to Fallen Firefighters Foundation from New Light Sales

Emmitsburg, MD – (March 24, 2011) The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) announced that Streamlight Inc.® has created a new key-chain flashlight in recognition and support of the Foundation. Steamlight will donate one dollar from the sale of each Red Nano Light® to the NFFF. The new Red Nano Light features the NFFF logo on one side and the Streamlight logo on the other. Although it is small, measuring just under 1.5 inches, it is a powerful light with a white LED that carries 10 lumens and features a 100,000 hour lifetime.

“The Foundation is very pleased to work with Streamlight on this project that ultimately will benefit the families of the fallen,” said Ronald J. Siarnicki, executive director of the NFFF. “We greatly appreciate Streamlight’s commitment to our efforts.”

Streamlight also has renewed its “Bronze Helmet” sponsorship of NFFF with a donation of $10,000. This contribution will assist the Foundation’s mission to honor the memory of those firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice and to provide assistance for their families, including long-term support services and scholarships.
