TORRANCE, CA – August 5, 2010 – Pelican Products, the global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced lighting systems and virtually indestructible cases, has appointed Chris Marino as Vice President of Strategic Accounts.
Marino’s job will be to expand Pelican’s global sales growth by developing new strategic business opportunities and relationships with Pelican’s corporate customers. He will also work with Pelican sales personnel and customers to develop and expand new markets.
“Chris has been instrumental in driving Pelican’s EMEA sales growth and I’m confident he will bring that same experience to his new position,” said Lyndon Faulkner, Pelican’s President and CEO. “His extensive leadership, sales, marketing and business development experience will be an ideal complement to an already strong sales team.”
Chris Marino brings more than 20 years of executive, sales and management experience to his position. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of Pelican’s European subsidiary – Peli Products, S.L. Prior to that he served as Pelican’s International Sales Manager. Marino has also served in several sales and import management positions at companies that include Meade Instruments, Procom Technology, Inc. and Instrument Specialties, Inc.
Marino holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Cal State Fullerton as well as a certificate in Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions from the ESADE Business School.
