Hale to Recognize Pennsylvania Fire Commissioner at FIRE EXPO 2010

type='node' cid='377750' />For his support and commitment to Hale's new Safe Firefighter of the Month program, Hale will present Pennsylvania Fire Commissioner Ed Mann with an award at FIRE EXPO 2010 this Sunday in Harrisburg, Pa. The award presentation will occur at 11 a.m. in Hale's booth (#773) at the Harrisburg Farm Show Complex.

Commissioner Mann has been a guiding force in the development of Hale's Safe Firefighter of the Month program, which has been designed to recognize firefighters who carry out the 16 Life Safety Initiatives outlined in the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation's "Courage to Be Safe" campaign.

Additionally, Hale will recognize Commissioner Mann for his support of SafeBuy™, a new vehicle-mounted fire suppression system. From pump to nozzle, SafeBuy is a complete suppression agent delivery system designed from the ground up to support firefighter safety.

"The way to reduce firefighter injury or death is by continuous improvement of training and equipment design," said Commissioner Mann. "It's important for all fire industry manufacturers to step up to this challenge and develop safer fire suppression systems."
