Lithia Springs, Georgia, July 19, 2010 - Tyco International today celebrated the grand opening of a new distribution facility here. The 205,000 square foot facility employs 125 people and serves as a hub for distributing the company's fire detection, fire suppression and electronic security products to customers across the United States and around the world.

The new facility located at 2600 West Point Drive provides Tyco with a strategic distribution location in the Atlanta area. The facility features state-of-the-art delivery capabilities and is a key part of the company's global distribution network. Tyco employs more than 900 people at 16 locations in Georgia.
