Chelan Falls, Washington, February 24, 2010 – Wildland Fire Gear Specialist Coaxsher™ has recently attained ISO 9001:2008 certification. Awarded by the International Organization for Standardization, a global leader in quality assurance for business, government and society, the designation certifies that Coaxsher has met the highest standards of good management practices and formalized business processes. Coaxsher™ originally pursued its ISO certification so that the company’s products could qualify for NFPA 1977-2005 certification, a necessity in the fire gear industry. The company’s owners Kevin and Kyle Cox found that it was also a good business practice to ensure quality control externally as well as in-house. The certification provides an objective benchmark upon which customers can measure Coaxsher™ and its products against its competitors. “Being ISO certified means that our company’s procedures and operations have been refined to meet top industry standards,” Kyle Cox said. “This benefits our customers because they know that they will receive not only the highest quality products which we have always delivered but also the best customer service, before and after their purchases.” The ISO certification comes on the heels of the launch of Coaxsher’s latest product – the CX Wildland Vent Brush Shirt, patent pending – a long-sleeved wildland firefighter’s brush shirt made with superior ventilation, easy access and roomy pockets for storage. “This is a big year for Coaxsher™,” Kyle Cox said. “After eight years in business, we’re taking things to the next level.” To learn more about Coaxsher™, visit the outdoor gear specialist online at http://www.coaxsher.com or contact Kyle Cox at 800-440-3098.
