Bill Landreth Joins American LaFrance to Lead Aftermarket Division

SUMMERVILLE, SC – As the nation’s oldest manufacturer of fire apparatus, American LaFrance understands the importance of providing quality service to its customers. To strengthen the company’s commitment to the thousands of vehicles carrying the American LaFrance and Condor badges, the company has hired industry veteran Bill Landreth to head its Aftermarket Division.

SUMMERVILLE, SC – As the nation’s oldest manufacturer of fire apparatus, American LaFrance understands the importance of providing quality service to its customers. To strengthen the company’s commitment to the thousands of vehicles carrying the American LaFrance and Condor badges, the company has hired industry veteran Bill Landreth to head its Aftermarket Division.

Landreth comes to American LaFrance after spending 36 years at Freightliner, LLC and Daimler Trucks North America, LLC. The last 23 years were in the Customer Support Division holding various positions including Director of Freightliner Parts Sales, Director of Parts & Service Marketing and Project Manager.

As Vice President of the Aftermarket Division, Landreth will be responsible for all parts, service, warranty and support activities related to American LaFrance’s fire, vocational and military products. American LaFrance currently has over 200 points of service throughout North America, including three corporate owned service centers in Summerville, South Carolina; Los Angeles, California; and Ephrata, Pennsylvania.

Bill Landreth will be located out of American LaFrance’s corporate office and manufacturing facility in Summerville, SC. The Summerville facility also houses American LaFrance’s parts distribution center.
