Fredonia, Pa. – March 23, 2010 Grace Industries, Inc. released the MSHA Approved Lite Tracker personal safety light (MSHA Approval No. 18-A100007-0). Lite Tracker is now approved by the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) for use in underground mines and is specifically engineered by Grace Industries for the mining and tunneling industries.
Lite Tracker easily attaches to clothing or gear providing omni-directional lighting for immediate recognition of personnel and equipment. This product also provides durability, ruggedness, and water resistance to tolerate the underground environment. Lite Tracker can provide over 170 hours of continuous use on just two AAA batteries depending on the model. There are a variety of attachment options, LED colors, and lighting patterns to choose from offering customization for the consumer. Lite Tracker can also be used in conjunction with Grace Industries’ Mine Rescue Alarm (also MSHA Approved; MSHA Approval No. 18-A080004-0). “Lite Trackers have always been used in dangerous and extreme environments so the transition into mining is natural for this product line”, states Paul Emmett, Vice President of Operations for Grace Industries.
