TORRANCE, CA – November 17, 2009 – Fresh off integrating Hardigg Industries under its corporate umbrella, Pelican™ Products, a global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced lighting systems and virtually indestructible cases has promoted Scott Nicholson as Senior Director of Worldwide Quality.
“At Pelican Products, the quality of our merchandise is legendary and Scott Nicholson has been a driving force behind that for more than ten years now,” said Lyndon Faulkner, Pelican’s President and CEO. “It was only logical that we promote him to ensure that our whole company benefits from his drive and knowledge.”
Nicholson will work with the extended Pelican Products Quality team to identify key Core processes (internal and customer facing) that need to be implemented company-wide. His new responsibilities will extend to all areas and regions of Pelican’s combined busi¬nesses, including the Advanced Area Lighting Group and Case Centers.
Prior to his promotion, Nicholson was Pelican’s Director of Quality and has worked at the company in various manufacturing engineering and quality management capacities. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology and Management Science from the University of Bradford in England in 1991, and completed his MBA from Pepperdine University in 2008.
