Pelican Products Appoints Dave Williams as VP of Business Integration

Following the acquisition of their long-time rival Pelican Products, Inc. has appointed Dave Williams as Vice President to manage the integration of the two businesses.

TORRANCE, CA - March 20, 2009 - Following the acquisition of their long-time Rival - Hardigg Industries, Pelican Products, Inc. has appointed Dave Williams as Vice President to manage the integration of the two businesses.

With nearly 30 years of executive and management experience, Williams will oversee and coordinate the task of evaluating systemic strengths and weaknesses and uniting the two industry leading companies for maximum efficiency and profitability.

Williams served as Vice President of Capital and Engineering at Technicolor where he oversaw engineering initiatives for the worldâs largest pre-recorded, optical disc manufacturing facilities and developed and managed capital budgets of $100 million at their peak. Additionally he managed technology roll-outs for such industry-changing products as Blu-ray and Xbox discs.

Throughout his career he has held several management and engineering positions. During his tenure as Project Director for compact disc pioneer Nimbus he managed the construction of a green field site and consolidation of manufacturing facilities around the world from design to production.

Williams is a 2007 graduate of the Harvard Business School's Executive Strategy Leadership Program and the Thomson Executive Leadership Program (which is only offered to high-potential candidates).
