The Nautiz X5 comes standard with 256 MB RAM and 512 MB built-in Flash storage. The long-life 4400 mAh Li-ion battery provides more than all day performance, is rechargeable and hot-swappable. The Nautiz X5 also has a microSD slot for memory expansion. The transflective full VGA color display and touch screen provide sharp and clear resolution even while working outdoors.
The Nautiz X5 rugged PDA is built on the Windows Mobile 6.1 platform with a powerful X-scale 806 MHz processor making it one of the fastest rugged PDAs on the market. With cellular capabilities of either GSM (HSDPA/EDGE) or CDMA (EVDO) users can choose the network that works best for them. The unit also has fully integrated Bluetooth and 802.11b/g WLAN.
The integrated three mega-pixel camera comes with autofocus capabilities - a combination not usually seen in this type of device. And the integrated SiRF star III GPS chip with InstantFix II provides near instantaneous position computation for navigation or gathering location-based information. The integrated high quality laser scanner reads all common barcodes and a 2-D imager is available as an option. The Nautiz X5 rugged PDA is available immediately and will be shown at the FOSE government technology show in Washington D.C., March 10-12. Handheld will be in booth 2609.
