Firehouse World Announces New Co-Location with CSFA's 88th Annual Conference & Leadership Summit

Burnsville, MN (October 13, 2009) - Cygnus Expositions, a division of Cygnus Business Media, is proud to announce the co-location of Firehouse World 2010 and California State Firefighters' Association (CSFA) 88th Annual Conference and Leadership Summit.

The addition of CSFA's Annual Conference, March 1-3, will make this the ultimate experience. Over twenty-four thousand members are invited to attend the conference to conduct annual business, participate in social gatherings and attend educational classes.

Firefighters will be eligible to apply for continuing education credits through East LA College, and some can apply for EMS credits through Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS). All CSFA members will receive a $75 discount to Firehouse World.

From February 28 - March 4 more than 7,000 professionals will gather at the San Diego Convention Center for Firehouse World's incredible five-day event to discuss relevant issues and seek solutions for today's challenging times. Over 120 expert-led hands-on training, preconference and conference classes will be available, including more EMS content. A product showcase of over 350 exhibitors will provide the perfect venue for purchasing options.

In addition to the co-location, Firehouse World will sponsor the CSFA Training Officer of the Year Award. This honor is presented to a person who is dedicated to their department and displays exemplary leadership skills. The winner will receive travel, lodging and 3-day conference admission for themselves and a guest. CSFA and Firehouse World event organizers will honor the winner during the opening ceremony on Tuesday, March 2 at 10:15 AM.
