Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling of Southeast Wisconsin to sponsor teams during Firefighter Combat Challenge

Paul Davis Restoration of Southeast Wisconsin, headline sponsor of the 2007 Paul Davis Restoration Midwest Regional Firefighter Combat Challenge, will sponsor three firefighter teams.

Milwaukee, WI - Paul Davis Restoration of Southeast Wisconsin, headline sponsor of the 2007 Paul Davis Restoration Midwest Regional Firefighter Combat Challenge, will sponsor three firefighter teams during the upcoming Scott Firefighter Combat Challenge(R) in Altoona, WI on Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9.

Hundreds of competitors and spectators are expected to attend the Altoona event which begins at 4 p.m. on June 8. The competition called Charter Communications Combat Challenge will be located at 1904 Spooner Ave. in Altoona. According to Amy Speaker, Paul Davis Restoration of Southeast Wisconsin's Director of Business Development, the company has sponsored area firefighter teams at Firefighter Combat Challenge events for several years. "This year, our sponsorship begins with teams from Washington County, Merton, and South Milwaukee who will be funded for competitor registration and logistics," said Speaker. "We are very proud of our teams and all team members who compete in this rigorous event. Additionally, the local Paul Davis office is hosting a major, regional Firefighter Combat Challenge on Friday and Saturday, September 7-8, at Konkel Park, 5151 West Layton Ave. in Greenfield.

The regional competition Paul Davis Restoration Midwest Regional Firefighter Combat Challenge, will be held in conjunction with the City of Greenfield's 50th Anniversary celebration

Currently, the following local businesses have secured corporate level and other major sponsorships including Potawatomi Bingo, West Bend Mutual Insurance, Vici Salon & Beauty School, Simplex-Grinnell, Miller Brewing, John Paul's Greenfield Pontiac, Klements Sausage, and Promo 540. Many other companies have also committed to sponsorships.

All proceeds from sponsorships and vendor fees to go the Wisconsin Burn Camp for Children, and to support fire safety and education through the Greenfield Library Foundation.

Since 1991, the Scott Firefighter Combat Challenge(R) has been recognized as a nationwide event for hundreds of U.S. and Canadian firefighters who compete at more than 20 locations in a fitness course to demonstrate the profession's rigors to the public. Firefighter Combat Challenge has been featured on ESPN and dubbed The Toughest Two Minutes in Sports.
