Troy, NY, November 1, 2006 - The National Registry of Environmental Professionals (NREP) has recognized BullEx Digital Safety with their award for Environmental Health & Safety Management Systems - Infrastructure Preparedness & Training. The association's highest award was presented to BullEx Digital Safety's CAO Simon Balint and Larry Swindle, REM, CEA, CIPS, and President of Global Training & Environmental (GT&E) at NREP's Awards Luncheon October 19th at Nashville's Gaylord Opryland Resort. BullEx Digital Safety and GT&E received this award for HotShot, their innovative fire extinguisher training system. The HotShot fire extinguisher training system eliminates the need for flammable fuels and extinguishing media, providing waste minimization, cost savings and resource conservation. The training of oil and gas industry personnel using HotShot versus conventional training methods will translate into a savings of 5,000 gallons of fuel and 75,000 pounds of extinguishing media in the U.S. Gulf coast alone.

"The HotShot training system is a collaborative effort by seasoned professionals identifying a market's needs, and the IT generation's innovative solutions for that need. The environment and all who use this product will benefit," remarked Larry Swindle, President of GT&E.

HotShot is an LED panel which digitally replicates a live fire based on the class of fire (A, B or C) and skill level chosen. HotShot's realistic, self-generating digital flames respond directly to the trainee's actions. Using Bullex's SmartExtinguishers, users interact dynamically with HotShot's digita fire. If trainees fail to use the proper technique, the flames respond accordingly. Flames can diminish, grow gradually or even reignite.

"BullEx's advanced fire technologies are now used by leading companies, government agencies, and fire departments around the world, providing a safer, cleaner, and more cost effective solution for extinguisher training," commented Ryan O'Donnell, CEO of BullEx Digital Safety.
