CHARLOTTE, Michigan, April 14, 2005 - 2005 marks the 25th year of participation at the Fire Department Instructor's Conference (FDIC) in Indianapolis, Indiana, and the 30th anniversary for Spartan Chassis, a subsidiary of Spartan Motors, Inc. (Nasdaq: SPAR). Ironically, in 2005 there are also 25 trucks on display at FDIC with Spartan platforms.
Spartan Chassis is commemorating their 25th year of participation at the FDIC by being a gold sponsor for the conference. As a gold sponsor, Spartan provides support for the training workshops, presentations and demonstrations that are the foundation of the conference.
"Spartan's support for those who have committed their lives to emergency rescue doesn't run out after the vehicles are built and delivered," says Richard Schalter, president of Spartan Chassis. "Our support is integrated in every segment of the industry and involves the products, the firefighters and the communities they protect."
Firefighters will be able to view the latest in chassis technology and Spartan's flexible product design at the Spartan Chassis booth (#2537). A total of 20 body builders and dealers will be displaying and featuring 25 Spartan chassis in their respective booths, reflecting the wide Spartan presence at the show.
