LADSON, S.C. - American LaFrance Corporation today named Bob Correll Director of Manufacturing. In his new position, Bob will oversee all production operations for the fire and emergency apparatus manufacturer. He reports to John Stevenson, President of American LaFrance.

"His extensive experience in commercial vehicle manufacturing and quality management systems will be invaluable as American LaFrance continues its focus on delivering high quality equipment to our customers."
A 24-year veteran of the commercial vehicle manufacturing industry, Correll most recently served as facilities manager at Freightliner LLC's Cleveland, N.C., Truck Manufacturing Plant. Prior to that, he held a number of positions of increasing responsibility in production management and manufacturing engineering at the Cleveland plant. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in manufacturing engineering technology from the University of North Carolina Charlotte.
Correll succeeds Erik Johnson, who has been named director of Freightliner LLC's Gastonia, N.C., Parts Manufacturing Plant.
