Ocala, FL (December 15, 2011) – E-ONE has been awarded, through Techno Feu Apparatus Maintenance, a multi-year contract from the Department of National Defense (DND) Canada with the first order placed for 12 Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicles.

“We have a long history serving DND with dozens of E-ONE ARFF units currently in service, and are very proud to earn their business once again,” R.J. Jones, E-ONE’s sales manager for Airport Products said. “We are grateful for the opportunity to serve DND by building these 12 new vehicles and appreciate their continued trust in E-ONE.”

Each highly customized Titan Force ARFF vehicle carries 6,000 liters of water and a full complement of foam and dry chemical. The DND specifications include spacious cabs with seating for four, extruded aluminum constructed bodies with electric ladder racks, dual agent booster reels, 10 kW diesel generators, and winterization packages that allow the vehicles to operate in -40 degree conditions.

E-ONE’s Rhino® multi-position, high performance bumper turret will also be featured on each ARFF allowing DND to utilize extinguishment agent more effectively than with a traditional bumper turret.

These initial 12 ARFF vehicles are part of a multi-year contract with E-ONE which includes an option for 11 more vehicles. The new trucks will be placed into service at bases throughout Canada.
