Waterway Expands West

Waterway announces that it has appointed a new franchise in New Mexico…its farthest
point West since the Company's inception as a franchise network 5 years ago.
The new franchise owned by New Mexican-born couple Keith and Amanda
Henry will service fire departments, plants and factories throughout New Mexico
and, if requested by fire departments further afield in neighboring States where
no formal third-party hose-testing company exists currently.
Waterway now has 19 franchise territories run by local, owner-operated firefighter
franchisees who primarily test fire hose including suction hose, ground
ladders and through its recently announced partnership with Mistras, can offer
ariel ladder and pump testing to their fire department customers.
Keith Henry, 30, is a Driver/Engineer for Los Alamos County Fire Department as
well as Assistant Chief for Stanley Volunteer Fire District. Additionally he is
President and founder of the New Mexico Firefighter Pipes and Drums.
Amanda, his wife and the mother of their two children, will work with Keith on the
business as well as continuing her education towards an Environmental Science
degree.
Matt Novis, another native New Mexican, is the third shareholder in Waterway,
New Mexico.
Of his joining the Waterway franchise team Keith had this to say.."It's a fantastic
opportunity to be pioneering a professional service of the kind that Waterway has
to offer in a State where no such thing exists. For years New Mexico Fire
Departments have had to seek this service from Companies who have had to
travel for days to test their hose. Now we're here, we've been trained by the best
in the business to the highest ISO standards and we hope to save Fire
Departments time and hassle and make life a little safer for New Mexico firefighters."
