Scott Safety, a leading manufacturer of innovative respiratory protection, gas detection and other PPE equipment, has announced the opening of a new training, servicing and assembly facility in Abu Dhabi to support its growing customer base in the Middle East. The new facility affirms the company’s commitment to the first responders and emergency service professionals who depend on Scott Safety products to protect them in high risk oil and energy production environments in the region.
Based in the Industrial City of Adu Dhabi, the facility opened October 10, with staff engaged in the assembly of some of Scott Safety’s key products, a service and warranty support department and a regional sales team offering customer support and guidance. Companies operating in the region will benefit from accelerated lead times for local service and product delivery ranging from SCBA, escape sets, airline breathing apparatus, portable and fixed gas detection and hearing and head protection. The new building also incorporates a training facility to provide customers, partners and end users with a dedicated resource for demonstrations and product training.
Scott Safety products provide protection from environmental hazards including smoke, toxic fumes, combustible gases, falling objects and flame contaminants and are designed to deliver five key components: optimum protection, simplicity of use, user comfort, low through life costs and simple maintenance.
