Ryan Pennington of ViewsFromTheJumpseat.com, a contributing editor to Firehouse.com, and Kerry Falzone of Plymovent Corp. have joined forces to create a campaign focused on the importance of hooking up an exhaust extraction hose in emergency service stations. “Every minute firefighter's and EMS are risking their lives to save ours, we need to stress the importance of protecting them in their stations” says Pennington.
Join the movement by posting pictures, regardless of the manufacturer, of your exhaust extraction system hooked up, on their Hook Up The Hose Facebook page www.facebook.com/hookupthehose. To be a part of it on Twitter, just include #hookupthehose in your tweets.
“Our goal is simply to spread the word, and get emergency service personnel to join us in the fight against cancer” says Falzone.
It was also just announced that Hook Up The Hose will be begin raffling a Phenix TL2 leather helmet at the Plymovent booth (5339) at this year’s FDIC, and the winner will be determined after FRI in August. Hook Up the Hose has already gained the support from FireChasers.com who is supplying the helmet for the raffle, and FoxFury Lighting Solutions who is donating a light.
