South St. Paul, Minn. (April 15, 2013) – TetraKO, LLC, the fire suppression subsidiary of EarthClean Corporation, announced today that Eric Morrison, Ph.D. has joined the company as Vice President of Research and Development. Morrison will report to Scott Bocklund, TetraKO, LLC President. Prior to joining the company, Morrison worked at 3M, Imation, Samsung Electronics and Ecolab where he focused on new product development through the application of new technologies.
“We’re very excited to report that Eric has joined the TetraKO team as our Vice President of Research and Development; with his new product development experience and expertise in the application of new technologies, Eric is a tremendous addition to our organization,” said Scott Bocklund, TetraKO, LLC president. “We are ramping up the development, testing and certification of our game-changing firefighting technology, and Eric has the skill set required to take TetraKO to the next level.”
Morrison is the author of 35 issued U.S. Patents covering advanced technologies including: nanocomposites, lubrication, electrophotography, emulsions and polymers, as well as commercial products such as packaging, color and X-ray films, photoconductors, abrasives, adhesives, and electro-photographic inks.
As Vice President of Research and Development, Morrison is responsible for new fire suppression technologies, development of new intellectual property, as well as oversight of certification applications and manufacturing processes.
Morrison received a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry/Inorganic Chemistry from Pennsylvania State University, and a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota. He has been an Industrial Research Fellow in the University of Minnesota IPRIME (Industrial Partnership for Research in Interfacial and Materials Engineering) program. He is a native of West Saint Paul, Minn.
