MA Firefighter's Wedding Interrupted by Fire Alarm from Smoke in the Church's Kitchen

A Lawrence firefighter’s wedding ceremony on Satureday was interrupted by a fire alarm for smoke in the church's kitchen.

According to the television station WHDH 7 News Boston, Dana Francis was in the middle of the ceremony when alarm bells sounded and smoke filled the kitchen of St. Francis’s Church in Dracut.

As family and friends left the church, Firefighter Dana Francis and fellow firefighter Jean Jimenez ran to see what was going on, the television station reported. Some guest thought it was a joke as the command to evacuate was 

After the alarm was reset and the all clear given, the bridal party posed for photos with the fire trucks, the TV station reported.

After the fire department cleared the scene, the wedding resumed and the couple walked out the second time as husband and wife, WHDH reported.
