Reward for Tips on Arson That Hurt Cleveland Firefighter

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest stemming from the vacant house fire last month in which a Cleveland firefighter broke his leg.

A $10,000 reward is being offered in connection with an arson that injured a Cleveland firefighter last month.

The 23-year veteran lieutenant broke his leg while battling a blaze at a vacant house April 29, WJW-TV reports. He recently had surgery for the injury and is home recuperating.

The fire has been ruled an arson, and Cleveland's mayor and fire department are asking for help from the public. The Ohio State Fire Marshal Blue Ribbon Board, Cleveland Firefighters Local 93 and Crime Stoppers are offering the reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
