TX Firefighters Rescue Horses from Trailer Crash

Arlington firefighters were able to safely pull out the animals from their trailer Saturday afternoon after they became trapped when it overturned.

Texas firefighters rescued two horses that were trapped when the trailer they were in overturned Saturday afternoon.

Arlington crews responded to the crash along U.S. 287, near Russell Curry Road, KTVT-TV reports. The horses had become trapped when their trailer overturned on a grassy stretch by the road.

The firefighters were able to safely pull the horses from the trailer, the department said in an online post. The animals only suffered minor injuries and the driver was not hurt in the accident, according to KTVT.

The cause of the crash is not known.
