Iowans and first responders lined Interstate 80 on Sunday to pay their respects to Clinton fire Lt. Eric Hosette, 33, who was killed in a grain silo storage bin explosion over the weekend. The procession was led by the Ankeny Fire Department and was traveling from the state medical examiner’s office to Clinton, KCCI-TV reports.

Clinton firefighter Adam Cain also was hurt in the blast at the Archer Daniels Midland facility. He was airlifted to an Iowa City hospital and is critical but stable condition. A Clinton official said in a statement that Cain was breathing on his own and was awake and alert, according to the TV station.
