Leominster's Central Fire Station is home to Engine 4, Ladder 2, Rescue 1 and the Deputy Chief.

Leominster's Fire Headquarters was built in 1897 and is located in the central business district, adjacent to police headquarters.

Twelve firefighters are on duty at the station with four assigned to Engine 4, four assigned to Ladder 2, two assigned to Rescue 1 (an ambulance), one in the fire alarm office and the on-duty deputy chief. Fire administration is also located on the second floor of the station. 

The first floor includes the apparatus bay with the apparatus mentioned above, plus a heavy rescue, brush unit, second ambulance (rescue) and support vehicles. The fire department's alarm office, which is staffed by a firefighter is located in the back of the station, along with offices for the company officers. A watch office is located on the midway on the stairwell to the second floor.

The main living areas are located on the second floor including a kitchen with eating area, a recreation room, fitness area, dorms for each company and administration offices.
