Hawaii Firefighter Shocked by Power Lines

HALEIWA, Hawaii -- A 40-year-old Honolulu firefighter was hospitalized after he was shocked by fallen electrical wires. Manovara Worthington and his crew were responding to a house fire on the North Shore at 8:30 a.m. on Pohakuloa Way. The initial emergency call was for a pole fire. Firefighters found an energized downed power line laying on hedges and fences. They isolated the area and warned nearby residents, fire officials said.
