The death toll from the Camp Fire still burning in Butte County, CA, rose to 81 on Tuesday after two more bodies were found in the devastated town of Paradise.

A retired fire captain safely led a caravan of cars out of Paradise, while another firefighter saved over a dozen lives by ordering a group of people trapped by the Camp Fire to wade into a reservoir.

The Firehouse team sends its warmest holiday wishes to the thousands of firefighters who are missing time with their families as they continue to do the hard work of containing the fires.

Stay safe, everyone!
