Michael Warmuth is the Division Chief of Health and Safety for the Meridian, ID, Fire Department, where he leads the department’s risk management and wellness programs. With more than 20 yeas in the fire service, he has served in roles from firefighter to battalion chief and health and safety officer. Michael is a credentialed Chief Fire Officer, an Executive Fire Officer graduate, and holds a Master’s in Executive Leadership and Emergency Management. He has published research and articles on leadership, risk reduction, and firefighter health, and serves as an advocate fellow with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
