Summary
This webinar is focused on helping fire departments assess their rapid intervention readiness to ensure your crews are able to rescue a brother or sister firefighter in their time of need. While the fire service is faced with a multitude of topics to focus training on, rapid intervention team (RIT) operations should never be a checkbox in training, and this webcast will focus on key skills that every RIT team must be prepared for. Looking at past RIT deployment successes and losses, Michael Daley will explain the various skills that your department should train on regularly to ensure you’re ready your department’s worst day. The webinar will also look at changes in the 2026 edition of NFPA 1400, the Standard on Fire Service Training.
