BRADFORD, N.H. --
The state fire marshal's office is trying to figure out what caused several school buses to catch fire on Christmas morning.
The buses were located in a lot on Breezy Hill Road in Bradford. Residents in the area reported hearing explosions around 5 a.m. Saturday.
Officials at the Bradford fire department said 10 school buses were destroyed by fire and at least three others were damaged. Damage is estimated at around $1.5 million.
A local police officer investigating the fire said it appears to be suspicious.
