Fire destroyed the Millville municipal building, which includes the fire station, in New Brunswick early Monday.
"The boys never got a pair of gloves, they never got a helmet, they lost everything," Woodstock Fire Chief Ricky Nicholson told CBC News. "The Millville Fire Department and the municipality of Millville have lost everything," Nicholson said. Woodstock was one of five departments that responded on mutual aid to battle the fire.
Firefighters from Nackawic, who lost their station and several fire trucks to a blaze last week, were also on the scene. Their equipment was damaged after a truck crashed into the fire station.
The fire, which was discovered around 4:30 a.m., consumed the building that housed the fire station, council chambers and a senior center. The village's two fire trucks and an ATV were also destroyed.
"We have no idea (what caused the fire)," Millville Mayor Bev Forbes said. "The building was fully involved in flames when the department arrived, it was so hot that they couldn’t even get the trucks out or anything."
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police and a the regional fire marshal are investigating the fire, and have not ruled out foul play, according to CBC News.

Acting Fire Chief Neil La Croix, from the Keswick Valley Volunteer Fire Department, told Metro news that area volunteer fire departments are gathering equipment so Millville can start responding again.
