A fire early Christmas Eve morning engulfed a Buffalo warehouse.
Firefighters were called to the building at Rapin Place and Walden Avenue on the city's east side around 12:30 a.m.
The flames could be seen from blocks away, WGRZ.com reported.
In a post on the Fire Buff New York Facebook page, Engine 31 found heavy smoke from a 200-by-50-foot warehouse.
Within minutes, a second alarm was called.
The roof collapsed during the multi-alarm fire.
Firefighters worked to protect nearby homes that were threatened by the fire.
