Mehlville firefighters battled heavy smoke and fire that destroyed a tire shop Wednesday.
Firefighters were called to Mack’s Tires on the 13000 block of Tesson Ferry Road in south Saint Louis County after a vehicle pulled in for maintenance caught fire and quickly spread to the building, according to Fox2now.
When firefighters arrived, the building was well involved in fire.
Fire crews initiated defensive operations deploying multiple handlines and aerial devices to control the fire.
