Charles Lind Jr. is a 40-year fire service veteran, having served 35 years with the Jersey City Fire Department, retiring as a battalion chief in 2017. He currently serves as president of the New Jersey Deputy and Battalion Fire Chiefs Association. Lind holds various licenses, including fire instructor and fire inspector.
