Daniel Pentkowski

Daniel Pentkowski has served the Henderson Fire Department (HFD) as a firefighter/paramedic for 18 years. As president of the Henderson Professional Fire Fighters (HPFF), he represents 243 full-time employees for the HFD and works continually to implement and improve policies to benefit members as well as to enforce guidelines and expectations to ensure members’ continued commitment to provide the best public safety services possible. Pentkowski’s leadership led to the department maintaining the highest cardiac survivability numbers in the nation. He also led the launch of two annual safety awareness campaigns: HPFF’s “Safe Pools Rule!”, which raises awareness on drowning prevention, and “Check Your Seats in the Heat,” which reminds motorists about the dangers of leaving children and pets in vehicles.
