Seth Rainwater

Seth Rainwater serves as assistant chief and training officer for the El Dorado, AR, Fire Department and brings more than two decades of experience in the fire service. A paramedic and peer support counselor, he teaches mental health awareness and resilience programs to fire departments and firefighter standards classes across the state. Rainwater holds a bachelor’s degree in emergency management and currently is an Executive Fire Officer student at the National Fire Academy. He also serves as president of Arkansas Professional Fire Fighters and has been a union leader since 2006. Since 2014, he has represented Arkansas firefighters in multiple elected roles at the state level and currently serves on several national and one international committee for the International Association of Fire Fighters.
