Tom McKellips

Dr. Tom McKellips is a retired fire officer and systems-focused researcher whose work examines volunteer workforce sustainability, participation concentration and structural fragility in emergency service organizations. Drawing on decades of operational experience, his leadership framework integrates field observation with sustainability modeling to help departments to diagnose risk before collapse. McKellips is the author of “The Legacy Engine: A Strategic Blueprint for Building Indestructible Volunteer Fire Departments.”
