U.S. Army Garrison Ladder

The United States Army Garrison in Yongsan, Korea, has taken delivery of this KME 109-foot AerialCat rearmount aerial ladder. The unit is 41 feet, 10 inches with a height of 11 feet, 10 inches and a wheelbase of 240 inches.

The 109-foot Aerialcat ladder features a 100-foot horizontal reach an elevation range from eight to 80 degrees. There is a 750-pound tip load and the waterway is rated at 1,500 gpm. Stabilization is provided by a 14-foot stabilizer stance and a deep penetrating outrigger allows leveling on an 11-degree slope.

The Severe Service LFD cab offers a 10-inch raised roof. There is an independent front suspension and the unit is a built with a cold weather package. The rig is powered by a Cummins ISM 500 hp engine with a Export Engine engine break and an Allison 4000 EVS six-speed automatic transmission.  

Pumping capabilites include a Waterous CSU-C20, 2,000-gpm, single-stage pump and a 500-gallon poly tank. 

The Aerialcat body is made with 3/16-inch alumuninum with a "Straight Shot" hosebed. Power is supplied by a Harrison 10Kw hydraulic generator.
